Audio Message:  No Audio

Introduction:
We struggle with right and wrong. What to believe and where to go!  Looking for answers to this world and life and can’t seem to find them.
Many times it is because we fight within ourselves without consulting the Word of God for the answers. When we look at every situation it looks impossible but Jesus said with God all things are possible if we only will believe. To believe in God means to have Faith in, Trust in, and be Obedient to His Word. We cannot be over comers until we are over come with the very presence of God, the Holy Spirit in our lives. Knowing the Word and what it says we are to do, this will help us to keep our mind from the devils temptations and from allowing negative and evil thoughts to over whelm us.

BODY OF TEXT:
Phil 2:5; Rom 12:1-2; Jn 14:16-26; 2 Tim 2:15; 1 Jn 1:15; Titus 3:5-7;

What is the Battlefield of our mind that makes us weak?

1. It’s our thoughts and what we believe. Being critical and stubborn,
unwilling to move from our own thoughts and ideas of what the world
say in their wisdom is right.

2. To some they are looking for courage and go to other means to get
courage for their lives, drinking, drugs, lying, cheating, being arrogant
and self willed, no one knows better than I do. These are all divisive
tricks of the enemy.

Philippians 2:5 Paul the Apostle tells us this; Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.

Romans 12:1-2 we need to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God which is your reasonable service.  Vs.2 and do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

The word conformed comes from the Greek word suschematizo and compare it with scheme and schematic. It refers to conforming oneself to the outer fashion or outward appearance of something or someone, accommodating oneself to a model or pattern. This word also appears in
other parts of scripture.

You may ask? How do I conform to the Word of God? Isn’t that my being righteous in doing for God by just reading the Bible?  What the Word (Bible) of God does is it teaches us to learn how to live like Jesus lived because Jesus left us the HOLY SPIRIT to guide us through the
word to help us see and understand the scriptures. John 14:16-26 Jesus tells us the role of the HOLY SPIRIT. 2Timothy 2:15 tells us that
being diligent in studying the Word of God is what helps us to keep from the world’s traps that will steal from us the peace of God for our lives.

World here means literally “age” referring to a godless system. We are not to accept the pattern of an age whose god is the devil.  We are to be transformed by a renewed mind committed to the ideals of the kingdom of God. 1John 1:15 do not love the world or the things in the world. More today love what the world has to give than what God has for their lives. When we believe God we receive from God when we reject Him we reject His blessings.

Prove means to test and to prove by practice in everyday life that God’s will for us is good and acceptable and perfect to God.

No one can make you do anything in your life. Even God,( Himself) or the Holy Spirit will force us to do His will. What the Holy Spirit will do is
gently speak to our spirit in our heart and guide us. But we must be willing to hear and receive from the Holy Spirit and not doubt in our heart what He is telling us. It must also line up with the Word of God because God does not go against His Word. We may go against the Word of God in our lives but God never does or He would be contradicting Himself.

In Titus 3:5-7 says it is not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of
regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.

CONCLUSION:
The purpose of this message is to help you and I to understand that we must always be in fellowship with the Holy Spirit in our lives and that in this place we will find rest and comfort, peace. Any other place will bring confusion not only to you but to those around you. That is why God gave to us the Holy Spirit and the Word to guide us and bring us into all truth. The Holy Spirit is the Teacher of revelation and without Him there is no revelation.
