INTRODUCTION:
The Bible tells us that God created Man in His own Image. So from my point of view, even the Bible confirms that we are like God. So there should be a reference point between God and me. What is that point simply put we are like Him in these terms we are made up Spirit, Soul, Body in the very likeness of God Himself. There is no other Creature in heaven or on earth that God gave a free will to choose Him. Man (Adam) was given the privilege to name all the animals in the garden as God watched and heard Adam name them. I think that is pretty cool because that is a powerful responsibility that God gave to him. Lee Strobel in his book a case for God wrote that during his academic years he became convinced that God was outmoded, a belief that colored his ensuing career as an award willing journalist at the Chicago Tribune. Science had made the idea of a creator irrelevant – or so Strobel thought. He wrote in his book that as he researched through it all Physicists, Mathematics professors, etc. After all his research found out God exists and we need to trust in God by Faith. Oxford’s Alister McGrath pointed out that all worldviews require faith. “The truth claims of atheism simply cannot be proved,” he said, “how do we know that there is no God? The simple fact of the matter is atheism is a faith, which draws conclusions that go beyond the available evidence.

BODY OF MESSAGE:
Rom 3:10-12; 1 Cor 8:2-3; 2 Cor 3:4-6; Ps 100:1-5;

Nowhere in the bible does it say that we have a free will we have a freedom to obey (or to reject) the freedom comes from God.  All power and all wisdom and all majesty reside in him alone. He inhabits all things and his presence fills every part of the universe. There is nowhere you can go where he is not already there.  There is a condition of the human race that we see in Romans 3:10-12, “There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.” Even a casual reader is struck with the universal emphasis of these words: “no one … not even one … no one … no one … all … no one … not even one.” It’s hard to miss the point. The whole human race has rebelled against God. It is in Christ we have all our confidence to trust God and know God. David tells us in Psalm 100:3-4 know that the Lord Himself is God.  So the value of who God is important as to why we need to know Him.
