Laughter comes from God and it is a gift that keeps on giving. It helps us deal with the sadness of life. It is laughter that heals the Spirit and Soul and gives strength to the body. Have you ever had someone make you mad and then someone said something to make you laugh? Even when we get upset Laughter will make our heart feel better.
Bad jokes have no business in your Christian life, making fun of others, especially when someone is going through pain.
Quotes from Charlie Chaplin: “A day without laughter is a day wasted.” “Life’s better when you’re laughing.” George R.R. Martin “There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.” “I have not seen anyone dying of laughter, but I know millions who are dying because they are not laughing.”

Introduction: Jesus said in John 6:63 it is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. It is as Jesus is saying that we cannot receive life from just educating ourselves in reading the Word of God without the Spirit of God bringing it to life in us. We only see ourselves in a reflection of who God has made us as James 1:23-24 tells us we are like a man who looks in a mirror and as soon as he walks away forgets what he looks like or what kind of man that he was.

INTRODUCTION:
We ask ourselves every day or at least every so often this very question seeking comfort from daily issues that seem meaningless in our lives. In John 16:33 Jesus promises us peace even though all around us we see tribulation but he has overcome the world. Romans 8:37-39 We in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 for I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor Angels, nor principalities, not things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Just in these two scripture verses we can see that there is nothing in this life or the next or anything or anyone who can pull us from Gods love for us. So why do we fall for all the lies of the enemy and not hold fast to the promises of God?

INTRODUCTION:
What is Pentecost Sunday and why do we celebrate this day? We celebrate Pentecost Sunday on June 4th this year. The reason why is it is 50 days after the assentation of Jesus into heaven and the out pouring of the Holy Spirit on the 120 in the upper Room. It is 50 days after the resurrection of Jesus and counting Easter on the 50th day He Ascended into Heaven. It is also for us called the birth of the Church. It is the time that the Church began with the responsibility to for the teaching of the Kingdom of God. It is what we have been called to do as the proclamation in 1Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen Race, a Royal Priesthood, A Holy Nation, A People for God’s own possession so that you may proclaim the excellences of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

INTRODUCTION: I want to challenge you “Today to LIVE READY” for the day may come when you need to trust and believe God. If you prepare every day for His coming you will not be disappointed. But if you hesitate you may miss His calling. Many spend time in things that make them happy but I will tell you today that it is but a temporary happiness that will fade away. There is only one kind of happiness and that is in LIVING A LIFE OF READINESS. If you have to get ready when opportunity comes your way, you are too late. Opportunity does not wait, not even while you pray. You must not have to get ready; you must live ready (Smith Wigglesworth)”.
The RESURECTION of Jesus Christ caused the world to be turned upside down and the world has never been the same and cannot be because He lives in a people who would dare to surrender their lives unconditionally to Him without question. He is our savior and Lord above all else. When we come to the realization that He is Faith arises in us and strengthens us. We want to do much in the flesh to accomplish only what can come from a supernatural experience and transformation. We must be Spirit led believers not just word followers. Because it is the Spirit and the Word interjected in to our spirit man and our soul (mind). In John 4:24 Jesus said to the Samaritan Woman that “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him must worship in Spirit and Truth.”
SCRIPTURES:
BODY OF TEXT: John 4:24 Worship God in the Holy Spirit. Prayerlanguage. Philippians 3:3 we must become the True worshipers of God not spectators. Matthew 14:23 Get alone with God and pray.

What is the significance of Palm Sunday and why do we celebrate this day?
These are questions that are significant to the Church of Jesus Christ (every born Again Believer) because it sets up the beginning of the Kingdom of God in the Earth through His Church.
In Ephesians 1:4-5 we find that He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. This is very significant because God found us we were never looking for Him. He has always been looking for you and you’re here today not by chance “He chose you.” Jesus took that triumphant journey into Jerusalem just for you and I the Prince of Peace not as a conquering King but a King none the less to bring to the Earth a way for redemption for all mankind.

We know that Hebrews 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes God must believe that he is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him."

The Apostle Paul makes a profound statement in Romans 1:16 -17 for I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."
What does it mean to be Spiritual and Holy? 1Peter 1:14-16 As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in ignorance, 15 but like the HOLY ONE who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior, 16 because it is written, "YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY."
SCRIPTURES:
1 Peter 1:14-16; Matthew 5:8 ;Galatians 5:22-26; Colossians 3:1-17;
